How is my music distributed on Amazon?
Amazon has two main platforms - a digital download store and a streaming service. The Amazon Digital Music Store provides one-click downloads to users who want to buy tracks or albums. Amazon's streaming service, known as Prime Music, offers its users ad-free streaming and offline playback.

How much money can I make selling music on Amazon?
The retail price of your digital release is at Amazon’s discretion. The wholesale price is based on tiers, but you’ll typical take around 60% of Amazon’s retail price. For its Prime streaming service, you’ll take a proportionate share of the platform’s revenue.
By distributing your music through Ditto, you will keep 100% of the royalties paid to you by Amazon and all other stores and streaming services.

How long does it take to get my music on Amazon?
It usually takes around 2-3 weeks to get your tracks on Amazon Music once you’ve uploaded it to your Ditto dashboard. Amazon imposes a delay for Prime Music, so your release will become available to stream 90 days after it’s available to download.
Amazon automatically makes your release available for pre-order and offers previews of your tracks - there is no way of opting out of this.
