Use New Facebook Timeline Apps On Your Band's Page

As an independent artist you'll be using a number of social media tools in order to engage, interact with and manage your fan base. A number of these services you use are now available in the form of apps which you can integrate into your Facebook Timeline, including Pinterest, Livestream and MailChimp. There is also now apps for specific functions available including the customizing of HTML pages in order to create discussion forums and 'Fan of The Week' features.

For those bands who have a Pinterest page, you can now migrate this section of your social media into Facebook using Woobox which gives you a free Pinterest Tab for Facebook Pages which is also great at giving visitor analytics.

Livestream have their own Procaster desktop app which is also free, allowing you to live stream from their site (www.livestream.com), Facebook, your own site and to mobile devices. While MailChimp, one of the more popular solutions for email newsletters, have designed an app to allow you to add a sign up form to the bottom of your Facebook page.

Fan of the Week is another new app that picks one fan from those who interact with your page and posts the news automatically, giving your fans appreciation and acknowledgement of their continued support.

MyWebees is also a cool app which imports your entire webpage to your Facebook fan page, allowing people to browse your entire site straight from your Facebook.
