The Spring Fling Street Festival Is Back
October 15, 2015
If you have plans on Sunday it might be a good idea to cancel them because North Melbourne's Spring Fling Street Festival is back for it's 38th year!
Held this Sunday the 18th of October, Spring Fling takes over Victoria and Errol Streets in North Melbourne, spilling into the surrounding laneways.
Featuring market stalls, activities, pop-up bars, eateries, and of course, live music, this is a must for families and music lovers alike!
This year's event includes:
Cultural Forest Stage - featuring a number of performances that reflect the cultural diversity of Melbourne's inner-North.
Sound Forest Stage - showcasing the talents of Melbourne's bustling music scene. Artists appearing include Fulton Street, The Baudelaires, Sunnyside, Cindy-Lou Kramme and Soul Safari.
Suitcase Rummage - a new twist on the much loved 'trash and tresure' markets.
The Dog Show - bring your dog on down and see if they've got what it takes to be Australia's Next Top Doggie Model. Vets from the Lort Smith Animal Hospital and Lost Dog's Home will also be on hand giving out advice to pet owners. Registrations for the Dog Show are at 11am.
The event will run from 11am - 6pm in the area surrounding Errol and Victoria Streets, North Melbourne, on Sunday the 18th of October.
