Second Ditto Music Fed Square Live Event - Jack Biilmann, Alex Lahey and Junor

Our second Ditto Music Presents Fed Square Live event was held last night, and again we were delighted by excellent weather and unsurprisingly, all of the artists put on incredible performances to what one of the biggest crowds for the Fed Square Live shows.

We showcased the variety of genres that we work with at Ditto Music, as Jack Biilmann started the evening with some virtuoso guitar playing singer-songwriter/blues vibes, Alex Lahey charmed the crowd with her witty and unique songwriting and lyricial skills and Junor completed the event with his psychedelic hip hop.

Jack Biilmann:

After releasing his track dedicated to cricket star Phillip Hughes yesterday called 'Forever Unbeaten', Jack charmed the relaxed Fed Square crowd, performing a slew of intricate guitar-driven tracks. His genuine and relaxed nature shone through, and after his performance Jack had a posse of new fans waiting to buy CDs and talk to him about his music.

Alex Lahey:

It's often hard for artists to tick all boxes when it comes to performing, stage banter, writing lyrics, melodies, and putting it all together in a handy little package. Luckily for Alex Lahey, it comes naturally and her sense of humour, wit and incredible talent for writing catchy yet intelligent music is evident. Her debut single 'Air Mail' received a lot of love on community radio, blogs and within the music industry, and we predict big things for her in 2016.

After the chilled out sounds of Jack Biilmann and the indie-rock/pop of Alex Lahey, we knew that the crowd was in for a change in pace with hip hop artist Junor. His knack for putting the crowd at ease, and getting on their level shone through immediately, as although he's played huge festivals, warehouse parties and toured with some big hip hop artists, Junor was just as comfortable getting children and grandmas to 'bounce' in their deck chairs and he managed to do it with ease. A part of the R.E.A.L. Music collective, Junor and Matthew Craig (DJ/MC) had fun during their set, proving that they can win over any crowd, any time.
