More Aussie Music Festivals Taking Artist Applications

WOMAD, The National Folk Festival and Cygnet Folk Festival are all taking artist applications right now!
When: 10-13th of March, 2017
Where: Adelaide, South Australia
What: WOMADelaide is Australia’s premiere world music and cultural event. It’s on just about every music lover’s bucket list!
Who: Past acts include, C.W. Stoneking, Youssou N’Dour, DJ Spooky, Rufus Wainwright, Alpine, Asian Dub Foundation, The Cat Empire and so many more amazing artists.
Applications are open until August 1.
National Folk Festival
When: 13-17th of April, 2017
Where: Canberra, ACT
What: The National Folk Festival is one of the top folk festivals in Australia. They present a culturally diverse and creative festival, with a keen focus championing a sense of community.
Who: Last year’s event featured artists such as Jordie Lane, The Little Stevies, Skipping Girl Vinegar and a plethora of other up-and-comers as well as established folk artists.
Applications close at 5pm on the 13th of July.
Cygnet Folk Festival
When: 6-8th of January, 2017
Where: Cygnet, TAS
What: Cygnet is one of Australia’s most iconic folk festivals. Starting in 1982, the festival is held in high regard with artists, just as much as it is with punters.
Who: Past acts include My Friend The Chocolate Cake and Frank Yamma.
Applications close June 15th.
