This Week's 5 Featured Artists
April 8, 2015
This week’s five featured Ditto artists has some proper scorchers. Brew yourself a cup of tea or some sustainable drip filter coffee for you hipsters, crank up the volume and check out the very best of independent music that is being distributed by our good selves.
Sugarmen – Dirt
These fellas have just been announced as a support act on Blur's comeback tour so you know they are going to be massive by the end of the summer. Their new single 'Dirt' is out April 13th and we reckon it's pretty good. Have a go.
SHXNGO – A N X S T A L G I A
The debut album from this unpronouncable band is pretty special. If you like yourself some soothing bass and sultry vocals you'll enjoy having a good listen.
Kristyna Myles – Paint A Brighter Day
OK this album may have been out for a couple of weeks already, but this Ditto distributed singer/songwriter has some serious talent. Famed for her inspirational gospel sound, this album has a pop vibe to it as well. We crank it up if we're ever in need of some motivation at Ditto HQ.
Elevant – Dreamface
This Liverpool rock band recently took part in one of our Meerkat live acoustic session and have been creating a lot of (good) noise up and down the country on their tour promoting their new album 'Dreamface'. They are definitely one to look out for.
Callaghan - A History of Now
Callaghan is one of the UK's biggest country music exports and her new album is creating a bit of a stir both sides of the Atlantic. 'Crazy Beautiful Life' is one of the tracks from the new album, with its infectious melody and catchy lyrics you'll have it stuck in your head for the rest of the week!
