Clement Marfo leaks his own album after label Warner Music delays in its release

At the turn of the year, Clement Marfo & The Frontline were hugely tipped to achieve something big in 2012 by the likes of MTV, Twitter's Rising Stars and the BBC amongst other tastemakers in-the-know.

After breaking into the UK Top 40 and having their most recent single 'Champion' used in abundance during the Olympics it seemed like everything was going to plan.

However, following on from the views of Professor Green regarding his label aired on Twitter last week, Clement Marfo yesterday took to the social networking site to vent his own frustrations at his label, Warner

Fed up with their excuses and reasons for delaying the release of his album that's set to feature 3 of the UK's best rappers in GhettsKano and Sway he put up a download link for his fans to get 5 tracks from it.

While major label backing can undoubtedly help an artist in regards to radio, tv and coordination of shows it seems more and more artists are growing tired of how they are being 'advised' to make certain types of tracks, having to go along with directions they may not agree with and ultimately losing out when it  comes to sales of their music to a fanbase they have largely built during their days as an independent artist.
